Pentecost

Have you ever had to wait on something, or someone? We wait at ticket counters, theme parks, the grocery store, doctor’s offices, when we’re stuck at the train, and even when we’re on hold on the telephone! Waiting isn’t easy, is it? It can be frustrating, because we don’t know if our waiting will achieve what we want?

This Sunday is Pentecost Sunday. In the church, Pentecost was the outcome of patiently waiting on God. God poured out His Spirit over his disciples and the church was born. Waiting, as difficult as it may be, is an inevitable part of life, but one thing is for certain, when God is involved, the wait is worth it!
