What Do We Need From Jesus?
This week in Chapter 24 of Quest 52, we step into the crowded colonnades of the Pool of Bethesda in John 5:1–18, where a man had been lying on a mat for 38 years waiting for healing that never seemed to come.
When Jesus encounters a paralytic man, he asked a question that still echoes into our lives today: “What do you want me to do for you?”
Sometimes we think we need better circumstances, less struggle, more energy, or even more money. But beneath the surface, what we really need is Jesus Himself! His presence. His healing. His power to help us rise from the places where we’ve been stuck.
Join us as we explore the story of the paralytic and wrestle with the question: What do we need from Jesus? Whether you feel weary, stuck, discouraged, or spiritually paralyzed, this message is a reminder that Jesus still walks into broken places and says, “Get up! Pick up your mat and walk.”
Bring a friend and come expectant. There’s hope beside the pool.
