The Display of Grit

Grit is not a trait we don’t often think about when it comes to Jesus, but he displayed it over and over during his life. He showed it as he interacted with the religious leaders, as he spent long hours as he traveled through Judah and Galilee and it was vividly seen on his journey to the cross. Grit is something that is needed to reach goals, complete tasks and finish well. Grit can be developed and grown as we follow the example of Jesus. This week, we will continue to trace the life of Jesus as he displays grit in the Garden of Gethsemane.
