#2 - Election

This weekend, we’re introduced to a parable that Jesus taught in Matthew 22:1-14. Our core verse is Matthew 22:14, “For many are called, but few are chosen.”

This introduces us to the theological topic of “Election” or “Predestination.” Many people have wrestled with the question of how much of your life is in God’s control and how much of your life is in your control? This isn’t a new discussion, and unfortunately it’s become an issue of contention and division in churches for decades. 

Instead of focusing our attention on the areas that Christians disagree on, this weekend, Pastor Andy will introduce us to four parameters that we learn from this parable that we all can agree upon and some practical ways that we can participate with God in reaching the lost.
