The Incarnation

It’s Christmas at Adventure! The decorations are out, the trees are lit, and every year, we pause to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas: The word becoming flesh! Chapter 32 of our Core52 book is: The Incarnation.

Our core verse for next week is John 1:14, “The word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.”

How could the God of the universe, wrap himself in the frailty of human flesh? This week, we’ll learn 3 simple truths: The incarnate God is near, the incarnate God loves, and the incarnate God suffered.

Jesus is the light of the world, and our best chance of knowing God is through the life Jesus lived! The incarnation isn’t just what happened in the life of Jesus. It’s a model of how to live as God intended. If you want the best possible life, live incarnationally.
