Week #1: Invited to the Party!

Mar 8, 2026    Pastor Andy Hamilton

Most of life feels repetitive. Alarm clocks. Commutes. Meals. Bedtime. Repeat. Sometimes storms break the rhythm—fear, need, and doubt. We begin to assume that repetition means lifelessness or that hardship signals the end. But what if neither is true? G.K. Chesterton once imagined that perhaps God says to the sun each morning, “Do it again,” and to the moon each night, “Do it again.” Perhaps daisies are not mass-produced. Perhaps God makes each one and never grows tired of the work.

In this new series, “The Wonder: Living an Ordinary Life with Childlike Faith,” we will watch how Jesus steps into everyday moments—a wedding feast, a fishing boat, a hillside meal, a mountain, even a grave. In each place He brings joy into routine, peace into chaos, provision into scarcity, glory into doubt, and life into death. This is not fantasy. It is the authority of the living God at work in ordinary life.

Jesus calls us to trust Him like children—not childish, but childlike: dependent, disciplined, and expectant. What if the problem is not that life is monotonous, but that we have grown calloused in our hearts? What if real life begins when we learn to say, with God, “Yes, Lord, Do it again.” Join us as we begin this new series and rediscover the wonder of life with Him.
