The Gospel of John is such a unique piece of literature. What better person to reveal to us who Jesus is, than his closest friend John!
This upcoming week's core verse is John 6:53: Jesus said to them, “Truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you."
Drinking blood? Eating flesh? This seems like a bizarre teaching, yet for centuries, the church has practiced the ritual of what is known as communion. In fact, most Christian Churches across the globe practice
communion weekly. This weekend, Pastor Andy will be unpacking why we do what we do in the Christian Church and will take us deeper into our understanding of communion.
