Storms Into Stories

In “Storms Into Stories,” we explore the reality that storms in life often arrive without warning—moments of pain, loss, fear, and uncertainty that make us wonder where God is in the middle of it all. Looking at the story in Mark 4, when the disciples faced a violent storm while Jesus slept in the boat, we see a powerful reminder that Jesus is not absent in our struggles—He is present with us through them. While He has the power to calm storms instantly, sometimes He allows them because storms reveal our foundation, refine our faith, and point us to what truly matters. The message of the Gospel is not that following Jesus guarantees a storm-free life, but that Jesus Himself is enough, and when our lives are built on Him, even the fiercest storms can become stories of God’s faithfulness.
