#5 - The Greatest Command

Mark was the youngest biographer of Jesus who had a string of failures in his ministry resume. But he never quit so that by the end of his life both Peter and Paul considered him a spiritual son. That’s why his gospel is such a valuable guide as a “Beginner’s Guide to Greatness.” He embedded Jesus’ best advice on how to achieve success in life.

This upcoming week's core verse is Mark 12:29-31, “Jesus answered, ‘The most important is, “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart

and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.” The second is this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” There is no other commandment greater than these.’”

This topic that we’ll discuss this week is: Obedience. The Bible has a lot to say about it! Obedience is a critical element to our walk with God. Pastor Andy will be unpacking the importance obedience plays in our faith. We’re called to live with 100% obedience to God. We can't live 90% of our lives obediently, and the other 10% disobediently. When we follow the truth found in God's word, there are blessings and rewards for living our lives according to God's plan.
