Today we explore what Jesus believed about Himself.” Using the Last Supper and the Passover story, Jesus intentionally connected His death to the Passover lamb, presenting Himself as the perfect Lamb whose blood brings redemption, forgiveness, freedom, and salvation from sin. Through Jesus’ own words throughout the Gospels, we see Him claiming divine authority, identifying Himself with God, forgiving sins, and declaring that He is the only way to the Father. The central question of the sermon is ultimately personal: Who do you say Jesus is? If Jesus truly is who He claimed to be—Lord, Son of God, and Savior—then that truth demands more than simply admiring Him as a good teacher; it should transform the way we live, love, sacrifice, and follow Him.
