#6 - Taming our Tongue

This week, we continue the “Weeds in My Garden” series with a weed we have all encountered in our lives. Have you ever thought, “Why did I say that?” That statement usually comes from using the weed we all have: our tongue.

The tongue has great power for good and for evil. Every one of us have used this instrument well and (if you are anything like me) have used it destructively. James, the brother of Jesus, gives us some great advice in James 3: 1-12 about this weed we use on a daily basis.
